Stress is a normal physiological response of the body to situations or stimulus which are perceived as presenting difficulty or risk to the body.
It can affect anyone at anytime. When stress occurs regularly short an outlet for relief it can inflict harm within and of itself.
However, stress also can strengthen and mature you. That which doesn't decimate you makes you stronger.
You really can't escape stress. You can just cultivate healthy mechanism for coping with it and relieving it up to that time it gets to you.
