why are pharmaceutical companies allowed to flog prescription single medication over the internet?

drugs like benzodiazepines which are prone to assault?

we can buy animal controlled drugs for our dogs via the internet, but we have to transport them the vets prescription prior to the confinement. maybe its one and the same for human drugs ?
It shouldn't be allowed but how do you regulate it. A person would be breaking the imperative if he/she bought some diazepam abroad on the internet and import it by post to England because it is a controlled drug.
Where money is concerned some people will break the statute for big profits.
I believe you still need a prescription to but the meds over the internet
