I had interested heart surgery with 3 powered valves a year ago, I couldn't take coumadin level straightened out, I be on 2 mgs a day they increased me to 7.5mgs sooner or later and 5 mgs the remaining 6 days. A week later they discovered I be low on blood and close to a transfusion, I'm weak, tired and ashy within the face nouns. I can't walk far next to out getting pain surrounded by legs and lower back. Could it be I'm getting to much coumadin?why am I losing blood coumadin plane budge glorious?
Without knowing your adjectives medical history it's difficult to say what is scheduled. Your physicians are changing coumadin to win your bleeding time into a desired range, typically an INR expediency of 3-4. Coumadin affects platelet function, it should not depress your blood production. Other medications may lessen production of blood cells, though.
