why do not brand name everybody to hold an occasional drug peak?

why do not brand name everybody to hold an occasional drug peak?
In my country, it's usually done prior to employment and renewal of driver's license but they just can't blind you anytime they want unless there is really rationale to suspect drug abuse and even later it requires your written permission to do so, protects an individual's right to privacy.
Unless suspicion of drug use, it is classed as an invasion of privacy.
I do not spell America near a K. Thats why. Oh and then why not generate everybody .. occasionally. Then after that it would be so easy to capture everyone to do .. when we tell them. If you want your choices made for you please be aware of free to find a place that will make them for you. So you can budge pee in thier cups.

Why do my wife and I recurrently yawn at the exact same time?

Most times that this happens we do not hold any clue that the other is going to yawn. Why do my wife and I recurrently yawn at the exact same time?
Yawning is still something that is a mystery to scientists, but this site explains some theories and possible reason:
http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/aug...
Some people read out that yawwning is catchy. Actually it is the brains esponse to lack o oxygen. Since you and she are contained by the same room near is the same amount of oxygen. We tend to yawn when bored also, thiis also is a famine of oxygen since we tend to breath shallowly when bored.
Maybe you are really in sync beside eachother. I saw this program saying that inhabitants often yawn first to more dominant those. Maybe you are both equal parts to your relationship both giving and taking the same amounts. My personal feelings is that the body yawns when it needs more oxygen than it is getting, conceivably you need some fresh nouns and both your bodies sense this at the same time.
If you stay married for 40 yrs. you will look alike too!

Why do my eyes shred up when I yawn?

Why do my eyes shred up when I yawn?
yawning releases water from the rip glance so that it wash all the small dirt particle , and it also keeps the eyes moist.
Its a unconscious thing
lol mine do too, not sure of the explanation on that one.

Why do my contact lenses blur up at a rate of knots?

When I put in my contact lenses, I see fine. But, after a couple of hours or so, my eyesight get blurry. Then, when I take them past its sell-by date, I see whitish residue on them. I clean them bad and put them back contained by, and my vision is fine again for for a moment while.
Is it the residue that is cause this? Is it some kind of protein? Is at hand any condition where the eyes produce more of this residue than ordinary? I just saw my optometrist, and she didn't know.
Thanks! Why do my contact lenses blur up at a rate of knots?
Perhaps an Allergic Reaction to Something (Not the Contacts).
your eyes prolly hold some sort of discharge coming from them. just roll them around within you haven w/ a lil solution and put them in solution overnight.
Yes the white residue is usual, well somewhat, and if your optometrist didn't know if it be or not, I would switch doctirs, she has no business within your eyes. It's a film of protein thats adjectives it is (Enzymatic) but if it persisit then I would move about to a different doctor and ask to have current contacts (of a different brand), you can buy tablets which remove the daily protein build up if it is really doomed to failure I would reccomend it once a month at least. If you sleep within your contacts or don't clean them/don't modify your solution daily this is a crucial source of your problem...

why do men age better later women?

seems men distinguish as they gain older, women only just look older. sorry ladieswhy do men age better later women?
They don't. Men and women age equally. It's our perception as a society that differ.
People believe that when a man ages be becomes more distinguished looking; and when a woman ages he a short time ago looks older.
men in actual fact seem to age faster...
the certainty is that ladies do not care that much nearly looks.
"distinguished" to them means u can provide for them and any children.. specifically our evolutionary purpose to them...
and what we look for evolutionarily is a woman that will make polite looking children, and nice boobs to feed babies near.. nice hips for childbirth etc..
its not that a 50 year old guy have less wrinklie skin than a 50 year ancient woman. its each gender perception based on what it wants.
They do? They die younger. Men who work all daytime in the sun, and who smoke don't look hugely good after while -- they sure don't look distinguished. More like --- extinguished. Women age better than men.
Older women regularly have great looks. One who is totally impressive is Donald Trump's monther. I am enormously impressed by how she looks.
I wouldn't say that. I'm womanly,> 40 yrs old, and my spousal element says I look a short time ago as good to him very soon even after >20 yrs of marriage.
Its adjectives in how you see / perceive.

  • Why do medication hold different salt.?

for example Dextromethorphan always is HBr or Pseudoephedrine is other HCL or Codeine is either sulfate or phosphate. is it for time release or what. does one brackish dissolve faster or does one last longer is it for that (duration)? Why do medication hold different salt.?
If I remember correctly, it have to do with chemical stability. For example Pseudoephedrine (the chemical) may be intensely unstable itself. But if a hydrochloride molecule is added on, it may increase it's stability and solubility in sure compounds.
It is usually a function of solubility. A salt near a higher solubility is recurrently chosen to optimize bioavailability. Sometimes it is a matter of preparative chemistry: one exceptional salt may be easier or cheaper to isolate.
reactivity, solubility, reliability, upset stomach prevention
the answers on top are correct but also it depends where on earth the absorption of the drug is intended to bear place!
a good example as you said, pseudoephedrines is contained by HCl.
water soluble drugs are confidently absorbed surrounded by thier unionised form!!
Alkali Drugs are not absorbed within the stomoch because they become ionised in the bitter condition, but they do get obsessed in the S.intestine where on earth they remain in thier unionised form, because the S.intestine is alkali and does not Ionise the Drug,
surrounded by the stomach the drug would be would be acidic and within the s.intestine it would be alkali,
it all depends where on earth the drug is ment to be absorbed!!.
    hope this help!!
how come more salt dont own medication

Why do kids come across to prematurely develop physically at the moment?

Why do kids come across to prematurely develop physically at the moment?
I totally agree with the first individual who answered. I have tried life and it just feel better, and is much better for the children (I have 5).
Girls are 'ready' to own children at 9 and 10 years old, whereas surrounded by the "old days" it be 13 and 14 (pre 30s lets vote.) The growth hormones and the steroids that are injected into the animals are transferred through the meat and milk that is consumed.
Similarly the preservatives that are used and the coloring for food prep enjoy a negative impact on adjectives of us. The energy used inwardly the body to process OUT those poisons (Kidney and liver work) is wasted since the body could own been busy processing the nutrients. Grrrr
Grow a veggie garden if you can and buy life as suggested. If we all budge organic it will go and get cheaper. My 'Sam Wally' store has fairly a good supply of natural stuff these days.
Yes, I believe that they do. And I believe that thereasoning at the rear this is all of the growth hormones that children are consumption in food products. Chickens, cows are adjectives being injecting near antibiotics and growth hormones to make them larger and in good health. And then these things are closing moments up in our children's bodies, cause all sorts of things. If you enjoy a child, try switching to organic.

Why do I yawn when it's cold?

    I know it's a weird aversion.Why do I yawn when it's cold?
Although there are a LOT of theories why folks yawn, none of them has ever be proven. Due to problems researching something that seamingly occurs variable.
    Some of the theories are:
    1. An indication of tiredness, stress, over-work, or boredom.
    2. An action indicating psychological decompression after a state of illustrious alert.
    3. A means of expressing powerful emotion like anger, apathy, remorse or boredom.
    4. A regulation of body temperature
    5. It's a purely chemical aversion from the brain. These chemicals include serotonin, dopamine, glutamic acid and nitric oxide. As more of these compounds are activate in the brain, the frequency of yawning increases.
    Why yawning could be contagious:
The proximate wreak for contagious yawning may lie beside mirror neurons, i.e. neurons in the frontal cortex of sure vertebrates, which upon being exposed to a stimulus from conspecific (same species) and occasionally interspecific organisms, activate the same regions contained by the brain[4]. Mirror neurons have be proposed as a driving force for imitation which lies at the root of much human erudition, e.g. language purchase. Yawning may be an offshoot of the same imitative fad.
Please bear within mind that all of this are THEORIES and not PROVEN cases.
Are you sure that it is when you get the impression cold?
When there is insufficent oxygen supply, humans yawn.
The cold nouns makes it somewhat harder for you to breathe...

    Why Do I Randomly Shake?

For about two months presently, I randomly shake. To others, it looks close to a bad cold chill, but for me, it is raw and embarassing. I am afraid to see a physician, because, like I said, it simply looks like a cold chill.
My "shake" is bloodthirsty, odd looking, jumbled (I'm not cold), and extremely painful.
Any model what's going on here? Why Do I Randomly Shake?
Don't be afraid to see a doctor. There could be a number of explanations, some more serious than others, but it definately warrant investigation. The last piece you want is leaving something too overdue for effective treatment.
There is such a entity as early beginning Parkinson's, but 18 would still be incredibly early. Painful tremor or spasms can be a side effect of debt from benzodiazapines, could be an indicator of MS or Motor Neurone Disease or the result of spinal injury (possibly even whiplash). It might even be a form of Tourettes.
There could be any number of reasons for this but it definetly deserves a trip to the doctor. Shaking can be an indicator of Parkinson's disease.
It sounds similar to a neurological promblem. If I were you I would find to a doctor asap. Since you are young this problem could be serious.

Yep...someone said it. Common side affect of Bismuth. Some people bring Bismuth for peptic ulcers and own the same problem
it's a typical side effect of Pepto Bismol. It is harmless and will move about away. Don't worry nearly it.
It is the Bismuth salts, a natral allergic reaction. I'm an accountant.
    Accountant Sally has it

Yes it's a normal counterattack to the Pepto.
What I do is I use my toothbrush and just brush my tongue - that will form the black film run down the drain.

Why do I receive rash when I drink beer?

Why do I receive rash when I drink beer?
Hi , I am the same when I drink beer... not adjectives types thoug only unquestionable types and also the same next to wine and spirits. What happens is that respectively different alcohol has different preservites surrounded by it and yeast . your body is obviously allergic to one of these so ttry to rigid down which beer is making you blotchy and dont drink it... also if you drink alot it could also mean sligh alcohol poisoning. you can do some research on the network about alcohol and how it can eeffect you excluding getting drunk...LOL. You may also get queesy as surrounded by having slight breathing difficulties.so really check out the net.
Ho-pe this has help[ed you some.
conceivably you are just sensitive to beer

    yeah-- carpet burns !!
i dunno y u r getting rash but i can tell u how to stop it ...STOP DRINKING BEER MORON
probably getting drunk and frisky near the wrong woman.
One possible reason could depend on ethnicity. If you own any Native American or Asian heritage, you may be prone to get blotchy red or flushed on the facade and chest when you drink (anything alcoholic, not just beer). There is a gene missing contained by some of these groups that breaks down alcohol, thus causing this antipathy.

I guess you or him must be loading themselves near static electricity. I think one of the most essential things is your shoes. If they are very apposite insulators- you or him starts charging up. Why do I bring horny every time I smoke marijuana?

Is there a chemical impulse or something to explain this? Why do I bring horny every time I smoke marijuana?
    same reason relatives get munchies
believe it or not, belfus is right (whether he designed to be or not). Marijuana (like alcohol) shuts off the more sophisticated and intellectual portions of your brain and reverts to the limbic portions of your brain. The limbic system is the brains most primitive portion that motivates the human to survive. This includes consumption (munchies), sleeping and procreating (sex).

In the past when donating blood I didn't catch dizzy afterwards. Last 2 times I got tremendously nauseous and blacked out. Why might this be occurring? Thanks in mortgage. Also I'm not anemic and my blood pressure seems typical 119/70.Why do I grasp dizzy immediately after donating blood but I did not contained by yesteryear?

What you ate, any exercise you did, if you're dehydrated, or if you've be sick in olden times few days or even weeks. If there enjoy been any other through changes contained by your life, that can also adapt the way your body react to the loss of fluid.
Generally, blacking out is due to the a small stint of hypoglycemia (or low blood sugar). That's why they provide donors with cookies and liquid after donating.
Before you donate again, be sure that you eat in the order of 30 minutes before you shift. And make sure it's a duly well on the edge meal next to simple AND complex carbs. After you're done, sit around for a while and enjoy the pure sugar that they've laid out for you.
A few days since you go, I'd drink a few more specs of water than usual to ensure that you're not dried out. More water usually won't hurt anyone.
Good luck the subsequent time you donate. You're saving at least possible three lives!

Why do doctors own to work 36 hour shifts?

They might not be 36 hours, but I know they are reallllly long. Why do doctors own to work 36 hour shifts?
We work those kinds of hours as residents so we can return with the most experience in the shortest time. Even later we still have 4 years minimum for residency. It also help with keeping continuity of caution for our patients, but yeah, it sucks. Every once in a while we even achieve to sleep, too.
I'll be rich as Croesus after I get out of my $40k a year residency (if you average out the hours worked, we in actuality get smaller quantity than minimum wage), and then money back my $100k loans for med institution...so I'll finally have money when i'm 60. That'll be right when someone sues me for good their life.
Because they create more money than Jesus Christ and drive Porches.

Why do cysteine kidney stones go on?

What errors in cysteine metabolism make happen stones? How can it be treated? Why do cysteine kidney stones go on?
Cystinuria is caused by an adjectives proximal tubular defect surrounded by which resorption of certain amino acids fail. This syndrome will increase the excretion of cysteine and other amino acids into the urine. Of the amino acids, cysteine is relatively insoluble in bitter urine, resulting in urolith formation.
Cystine kidney stones are relatively uncommon compared to other types of kidney stones because they are caused by a exceptional and inheritable disease called cystinuria. Another noteworthy distinction is that they occur within children and younger adults whereas most others in elder people

Amino acids are glibly filtered by the kidneys into the urine but average kidneys are able to reabsorb them from the urine and return them to the blood. In cystinuria, in that is a gene mutation or defect that decrease the kidney’s ability to reabsorb the cystine amino sharp from the urine. Cystine dissolves poorly in urine and form crystals that can grow into stones.

Why do cough drops fancy horrid but sore throat drops (Halls Breezers) soft spot fitting but don't work for coughs?
Cough drops taste horrid because they contain menthol, which have a strong minty flavor that is VERY easier said than done to mask next to artificial flavorings. On the other hand Halls Breezers is made of sugar next to a tiny minute strip of menthol so the menthol content isnt enough to soothe your cough effectively, but it does abet your sore throat minimally. Hope this helps!
Halls Breezers have too much sugar in the solution. That's what make it taste obedient, but it does not help your sore throat.

why do adjectives shows and movies close to the sopranos spawn it seem to be similar to pot isn't discouraging for you and that everyone doesit
because that's the way it is. I meditate that they should do more studies but I do not smoke it and I don't think it's suitable for you because of the smoke. It may be somewhat safer since it is not processed as much as tobacco but it still not good to enjoy smoke in your lungs
Because the drug culture is prevalent within Hollywood. You'll notice that surrounded by Hollywood they produce shows that are about things they know more or less This is one of the reasons movies are so habitually about actor and actresses.
It’s because the show makers and the actor they hire are “in the pocket” of the pot lobby, who want to legalize it so they can market it the way others put up for sale tobacco and alcohol. They would be able to brand BIG MONEY that way.
They want to spawn it seem identifiable. If a lie is told plenty times, it starts to seem true, of late because it sounds familiar.
But it should trade name sense that if it is dangerous to drink and drive, it will be freshly as dangerous to smoke pot and get hold of high and drive. More nation will die. And even if we someday have breathalyzers that can detect if a creature was smoking pot since they drove, it will not help the motionless person, will it?
So, the pot lobby doesn’t exactness that some people will die, they are merely taking the risk that it won’t be them. They want your money. That’s why.

why do alcohols decimate microbes at 70% and not at 90 or 100%?

why do alcohols decimate microbes at 70% and not at 90 or 100%?
    the germs evolve?
    because they do
if you mean why do we use 70% isapropyl alcohol instead of a stronger %, it's because it works merely as well as a high % and is safer and cheaper. Alcohols still kill germs at high %, but more is not always better. Children hold been poisoned by cooling alcohol baths and that front to finding a lower strength that would still kill germs and pose smaller quantity risk.
Some water is required for the ethanol (EtOH) to disinfect. Absolute EtOH will dehydrate the microbes hurriedly, and the EtOH will not be able to enter/kill the cell effortlessly.
Studies have shown that the combination of 70% isopropyl alcohol and 30% hose down does a better job of bloodbath bacteria than other combinations. I must mention that 70% alcohol can be contaminated beside certain microbes and that care must be taken to prevent that contamination of the alcohol remaining contained by the bottle.

Why do adrenergic blockers motive tachycardia?

My Professor asked for an answer to the paradox why when adrenergic blockers suppress the SNS does tachycardia occur. Why do adrenergic blockers motive tachycardia?
Alpha receptors are present on vascular smooth muscle, and control arteriolar and venous tone.
Alpha 1 blockade ----> vasodilation ----> decrease peripheral resistance and BP
Reflex sympathetic control of capacitance vessel is blocked
----> postural hypotension & reflex tachycardia
Alpha2 blockade enhances this reflex tachycardia because the inhibitory effect on norepinephrine release is blocked, and more NE released to stimulate Beta1 receptors surrounded by the heart
    Hope that helps.

Why did my pregnant friend hold so plentiful bruises from the doctors drawing blood?

Sometimes if you are a little dried out you bruise easily. If you know surrounded by advance you are have blood taken, drink a lot of marine, as this makes it easier for the blood to be drawn. Or conceivably the doctor could not find a strong vein and tried to insert plunger more than once causing multiple stress to the skin and resulting within lots of bruising.
I had alot of bruising too. I'm freshly easily bruised. I have an epidural and they said it looked like someone slaughter my entire back.
She may be low on iron, which cause easy bruising and slow clotting. Tell her to nick her vitamins. It will help prevent profoundly of minor problems like this one. Best wishes to your friend!
Does this take place all the time? If not,I guess the doctor's not too apt at it.Bruising is caused by blood leaching under the skin.If the procedure be done properly there will be no bruising or agony.
But then some family really do bruise easily. Nothing to verbs about except that it looks as if someone's given you a bash and you have to continually answer question from curious friends and relatives.
Because the doctor or who ever took the blood was an idiot.

The discovery of penicillin is usually attributed to Scottish scientist Sir Alexander Fleming in 1928, though others have earlier noted the antibacterial effects of Penicillium. Fleming, at his laboratory surrounded by St. Mary's Hospital (now one of Imperial College teaching hospitals) contained by London, noticed a radiance of inhibition of bacterial growth around a contaminant blue-green mold on a Staphylococcus plate culture. Fleming concluded that the mold was releasing a substance that be inhibiting bacterial growth and lysing the bacteria. He grew a pure culture of the mold and discovered that it be a Penicillium mold, now prearranged to be Penicillium chrysogenum. Fleming coined the term "penicillin" to describe the filtrate of a broth culture of the Penicillium mold. Even contained by these early stages, penicillin be found to be most effective against Gram-positive microbes, and ineffective against Gram-negative organisms and fungi

why chylomicron should enter the lymph first up to that time dance to the blood circulation?

why chylomicron should enter the lymph first up to that time dance to the blood circulation?
Chylomicrons are large lipoprotein particle not directly soluble contained by blood serum (having a diameter of 75 to 1,200nm).They are created by the absorptive cells of the small intestine. Chylomicrons transport exogenous lipids to liver, adipose, cardiac and skeletal tissue where on earth they are broken down by lipoprotein lipase. The chylomicrons are released by exocytosis from enterocytes into lacteals, lymphatic vessels originate in the villi of the small intestine, and are afterwards secreted into the bloodstream at the thoracic duct's connection near the left subclavian capillary.
The chylomicrons are excreted into the lymph because that's where the cell that excrete chylomicrons border.

why can't you hold grapefruit products while taking xanax?

The prescription note on a bottle of xanax indicates that you should avoid grapefruit products wihile taking the medicationwhy can't you hold grapefruit products while taking xanax?
Some raw products (such as flavonoids, furanocoumarins) in grapefruit inhibit the liver metabolizing enzyme (cytochrome P450) and subsequently disappear the metabolism of Xanax (which also metabolized by exactly the same cytochrome P450). Thus, the concentration of Xanax contained by blood may increase and exceed the normal extent. Finally, undesired effect may occur.
some meds enjoy this restriction because too much grapefruit can make the drug more potent and harder on the liver. A little doesn't hurt, like 1/2 cup but not with the meds, at a subsequently time. If u don't really like grapefruit purely don't take it.

Why can't Doctor's fix abnormality surrounded by people's DNA to get rid of genetic diseases?

Why can't Doctor's fix abnormality surrounded by people's DNA to get rid of genetic diseases?
You have 10 to 100 Trillion cell in your body. Every cell have the same genetic code. How would you translation that code in so abundant cells?
Additionally, the genome is turning out to be much more complicated than be thought just a few years ago. Much of a gene's 'performance' is determined by 'epigenetic' regulation of the gene's expression. You can hold 'normal' genes, but if they are not being expressed properly, explicitly the same as have defective genes.
This is a very, vastly complex issue.
because DNA is so complicated, the doctors wouldn't find a matching piece to the out of the ordinary piece or organism the human body won't accept the tentative one .
DNA is a very immensely small structure in human body. It is lacs within no and if any extra dose happens after the patient may carry someother genetic disease.
Because a DNA molecule is approximately 4 billion pairs long. To find the defective gene would take decades upon decades. We basically recently map the human genome. I think we did it smaller number than ten years ago. We have agreed about DNA for almost fifty years and it took us almost forty to map it. Without the use of supercomputers, we would hold never done it in 1000 years.
because it is not jammy to fix anyone's DNA. Can you imagine every single cell within human being containing DNA human being repaired? It's not so easy, if impossible.

Why are vein, largely, appear more superficially than that of the arteries?

We can see most of the veins next to our naked eyes. Is nearby any scientific explanation for this anatomical position of vein and arteries? any purpose of this arrangement? Why are vein, largely, appear more superficially than that of the arteries?
Well, yes. Arteries work under large pressure, since this the way to bring blood to organs and limb, so it makes sense to own them deeper; while veins own the low pressure, no rush return path that can be put superficially.
In grip of a superficial wound, the blood that is lost is at low pressure (so does not gush out) and since it already did its work on this cycle, having brought oxygen to the cell of the body, there is smaller quantity being lost.
If a artery is cut it is FAR less hazardous than if an artery is cut.
Veins can clot fairly glibly as there is not a large amount of pressure on them, arteries have adjectives the force of the heartbeat pushing them along. Basically they will not clot.
Arteries have more pressure surrounded by them and are able to move the cell structures around them. But by the time the blood go through the capillary system and flows into the veins they loose the push and the pressure go down. So with lower pressure they cannot move the cell structures around them as much as contained by the arteries. The veins cannot compete beside arteries in staying "afloat" so they tend to wager on out of the way. (ok I be guessing but it sounded good.)
vein are typically smaller and lead within rush back to the heart they requirement oxygen and cant be thick because it have less pressure ,again b/c its farther from the heart pump
It also has to do next to the fact that the capillary carry the "dirty blood" which is dark, thus more visible than the oxygenated blood surrounded by the deeper arteries

The human lacrimal gland produces just about 1 cubic cm of tears a day below normal conditions. These tears serve to damp and clean the cornea. When the eye become irritated by a foreign body (such as a dust particle on the cornea), tears are produced contained by excess and can effectively wash away the irritant. Tear fluids are rich contained by sugars and protein and act as a significant nutrition source for the cornea. Tears also hold anti-bacterial properties making them effective at war infections. If someone requires postoperative ventilation, or other mortified ICU care, he may be sedated to allow his body to regain your strength without unnecessary movement and increased blood pressure and heart rate cause by the stress of the breathing tube (or whatever is uncomfortable)

Why are pill bottles, etc. that are supposedly "child proof" easier for children to stretch out than adults?
It is because children's minds, being brand new to the world, are open-minded and try multiple things adults wouldn't. A child would be creative and try out things while the developed would simply try one thing over and over again, which might come to nothing.
ha ha, that's true! I think it is because they are a short time ago plain determined. They will stop at nothing until their curiosity is jam-packed.

why are most pills white within color? If you have your bearing, wt colored pill/tablet wld u prefer and y?

why are most pills white within color? If you have your bearing, wt colored pill/tablet wld u prefer and y?
Most pills are white because most ingredients used in them are white to off-white. In addendum, the ingredients are very pure so at hand is no carryover of other unneeded stuff into the pill.
Usually, a pill is colored for the following reasons:
    1. To differentiate it from other pills (say a 10 mg dose to a 20 mg dose to 30 mg dose would hold three colors, so the pharmacist could confirm she's dispensing the right dose).
    2. As a marketing tool ("It's the new purple pill!")
    3. To pall colors that exist in the formulation. You may hold an ingredient which is naturally brown. A colorant could support make the pill look more uniform.
As for my nouns, I'd prefer no color - no need for the artificial colors.
i dream up they are mostly white because then you dont wonder what is within them.
If they were bright coloured i bet prehistoric people wouldnt be so impassioned on them.
i guess colourful ones would be better though
    rainbow colors
I would prefer the natural color of the ingredients. I don't see the point of putting artificial colors surrounded by my body.
because white symbolises peace and you will want peace when you are ill.
    explicitly the perfect colour.!

Why are medicine so tamper-resistant that if you don't own a kid around to give support to, you can't seize into them?
Well, you have put it enormously nicely, contained by good humor next to a touch of sarcasm. Agreed... sometimes a lot of twisting and turning is required, however, it is not sagacious to ask a kid around to get through the tamper proof packing since one purpose for like will be lost and there are confident regulations governed by the FDA that require pharmaceutical companies to develop such packing for the protection of minors. It is also vital for the protection of the consumer as you have a guarantee that the contents inside are complete and enjoy not been tamper with by anyone formerly your purchase. So, we gotta live with that and appreciate at lowest that someone is trying to help us out.

Why are prescription spoons white or transparent?

Why are prescription spoons white or transparent?
Because they are made of plastic
because they are made out of cheap plastic that can be given away with tablets
Becuase most liquid medicine are dark within colour
Because you can easily mind if it has be used before or if it's dirty. So it's a interview of hygiene.
i would of thought its because they give a measured dose accordingly its more practical to use plastic than metal
I would guess that it's cheaper to make them within those colours .
It has zilch to do with the cost of the product, of that you can be assured.
It have only to do beside the fact that most gooey medicines are of color, red/purple/green. The clear plastice allows for much easier viewing when looking at the benchmark line.
    Hope this help
So you can accurately measure the tablets within the spoon.
    1. b' coz most medicine are colored.
    2. Effort is always to use virgin plastic which is usually clear.
FYI: Transparency is no indicative of price.
The purpose why measuring spoons are transparent is matching principle as measuring cups ( for liquid). So you can confidently see the line if you own reached the right dose for your drug.
beacause its easier to see what your taking on white isnt it

  • why are isotonic solutions used as parenteral solutions?

why are isotonic solutions used as parenteral solutions?
~I'm stumped, but I wear isotoners because Dan Marino hypes them.
we use hypertonic and hypotonic solutions as needed by patients. for hyperalimentation, we use high percentage of dextrose to provide nutrition, and for some patients near high amount of sodium surrounded by their blood we use 1/2 NS or .45 NS, so yeah we dont use isotonic only for parenteral use. hope this is kind.
Isotonic solutions are used because they have similar electrolyte concentrations and molority to conventional plasma. These solutions then do not alter the electrolyte concentration as much as hypertonic/hypotonic solutions and also stay next to in the vascular system longer due to the molarity human being similar. The other solutions will cause ooze out of the vessels or within the vessels.
There is a use for hypo and hypertonic fluids but on the most portion isotonic solutions are used.

Just one of the those things I've always wondered :-)Why are children competent to knob swimming/playing surrounded by really cold sea?
It's probably a combination of their mind not individual aware of water temp because they're busy have fun, their high metabolism keeping their bodies thaw out, and kids just seem to be to be more resilient than adults in abundant situations.
its psychological...you just hold to jump contained by before you can deduce about it. if you cogitate about it after you won't want to. kids are so excited about have fun that they don't even think nearly it being cold.

Why are British Surgeons referred to as Mister and other Consultants have Doctor?

Why are British Surgeons referred to as Mister and other Consultants have Doctor?
It was originally a permanent status of contempt that dates rear to the before the 1800's (possibly starting contained by the 1500's) when surgeons were not learned physicians but rather an outgrowth of the barber trade (i.e. blood letting to treat the sick).
Perversely, the term still stands today, but is considered an honor.
Because of their origins as barbers.
The second answer is pretty close the mark. The unproved surgeons were totally unqualifed individuals who dismembered corpses and removed organs for physicians to study and revise from. The word "surgeon" back within those days more or less designed "butcher",which is why surgeons today don't particularly want to be categorized as such.(quite understandable!),although strangely, it doesn't come across to bother surgeons in America.
phyisans are regaded as mister, which is an honour

Why are bedsores smaller number feasible to develop on the body of a hospital provides the lenient next to a sea bed fairly

And what does pascal's priciple indicate about the hose down in the river bed?Why are bedsores smaller number feasible to develop on the body of a hospital provides the lenient next to a sea bed fairly
Bed sores generally are cause when a bony prominence of the body is pressed against a regular mattress with little to no offer causing the tissues to become compressed between the mattress and the bone. When gone like that for more than 2 hours (most on form people), the tissue begins to break down and the skin starts to die, this is how a bed sore or skin carbuncle starts. If a person is on a waterbed or nouns bed, there is little resistance against that bony prominence, hence the tissues do not become compressed and die.
bedsores are cause when a person stays contained by a position for a long period of time. the sea bed is an ever-moving, placid, object that allows the entity who is bedridden to move easily lacking assistance, thus reducing the chances of bedsores. pascals triangle is a triangle of numbers specifically used to calculate probability but im assuming that it is purely used to calculate the probability that you will carry bedsores from laying on the waterbed and not only the water surrounded by itself.

  • Why are anticonvulsants Sodium Valproate, Carbamazepine, and Lamotrigine used to treat Bipolar Disorder?

Give me your own answer or from a clinical textbook. No wikipedia or weblinks. I'm a med student. Don't insult me.Why are anticonvulsants Sodium Valproate, Carbamazepine, and Lamotrigine used to treat Bipolar Disorder?
I hope you appreciate any attempt at an answer you receive rather than anyone "insulted" by someone trying to help. As a med student, you should realize by very soon there's much more we don't know about prescription than we do know. For example, although we have found lithium habitually to be an excellent treatment for bipolar as well, we hold very little information in the region of its actual method of action. Even if you receive one answer in a minute, it may be disproven within even a few years. Furthermore, if you're truly looking for correctness you can't rely on books either, as their content potentially is only just as unreliable as the web, lone in an elder format. Usually only articles from peer-reviewed journal (often available as "weblinks") can be considered to be reliable. Nevertheless, my attempt at an answer:
Seizures are caused by a cataract of overstimulation in the brain as increasing amounts of excitatory neurotransmitters are released. Antiepileptics work by blocking the repeated release of these neurotransmitters, especially glutamate. This can be skilful by several mechanisms, including limiting the number of sodium channel on a membrance that can open, thereby reducing the frequency at which the neuron can stabilize and verbs firing. This same effect is useful for treating bipolar disorder, especially the hyperactivity of the passion aspect, and can also serve as a sort of buffer to keep the neuron firing at a moderate rate at adjectives times, with the postsynaptic neuron developing tolerance and increased receptor sensitivity.

Why animal's blood is not adjectives for human human being ?

Why animal's blood is not adjectives for human human being ?
there r ample humans and enough blood for very soon.. so v r feeding animals once we receive selfish plenty to donate blood.
    because human are selfish
Animals and humans enjoy different DNAs therefore the blood will be rejected when it is transfuse to one another.
    U R WRONG...IT IS USEFUL
contains different antibodies, platelets etc that human bodys could counter to. However, other "animal fluids" are prettty safe. Take insulin. Bovine insulin from their pancreas be used before modern technology be used to create genetically produced insulin for diabetics. Hearts from pigs can be transplanted, into humans, but blood is just different
Because we are not animals. They are of a different specie.
Blood serum is extracted from animals and used for preparing vaccines.moreover sometimes confident antigens are injected in animals and the antibodies produced are retrieved and used for humans. So animal blood is also adjectives to humans.
    The composition differs.

Without knowing your adjectives medical history it's difficult to say what is scheduled. Your physicians are changing coumadin to win your bleeding time into a desired range, typically an INR expediency of 3-4. Coumadin affects platelet function, it should not depress your blood production. Other medications may lessen production of blood cells, though.
I don't have a sneaking suspicion that coumadin is the culprit here, but you should definitely capture to a physician for these symptoms. Only a complete exam and history can lead to teh right diagnosis.

why a clock enjoy only12 hours?

why a clock enjoy only12 hours?
the 24 hour day is base on a mathematical relationship on the subject of the rotation of the earth. (This is one and the same concept that can explain how and why radians and degrees are used within trig measurement.)
Clocks usually hold 12 hours on them because this makes it easier to show the minutes and second in between respectively hour, as opposed to have 24 numbers. The angles make by the hand seem more defined contained by a 12 hour system than in a 24 hour system.
Telling time is a ocular process, so the clearer the clock is...the faster and more efficient this will be.
    WRONG SECTION
And how should i know? Because if you put adjectives 24 it will be too full and too hard to read!
Economy of space. Why crowd adjectives those numbers when you can just enjoy the hands dance around twice. Obviously you know whether it's night or sunshine.

we've got 3 joint on each finger (3x4=12) near 5 fingers a hand (again, 12x5=60)
We're not really sure why they chose 60, or why we use 10 (computers use 2 and 16 as bases) but that's the approach the history of math was built.
dunno... only just imagine if we own 100 hours in a clock..
No one know why exactly, but the reason they are resembling that today is because ancient sundials and water clocks consisted of 12 hours. One of the theory's as to why to be precise, is because they had to equally divide the sunshine into sections. I don't know why they chose 12 though.

why 3 doses are given for polio why not just 1 dose?

why 3 doses are given for polio why not just 1 dose?
Polio Vaccination is given to babies at tenderstage. In vaccination they use exceedingly minute quantity of same virus. As the degree is very small, the babe-in-arms starts developing immunity. As this polio vaccine is offered at tender age it is not protected to offer the full dosage contained by dose. Hence they offer at three stages.
Your body have to build up an immunity by creating antibodies.
It is basically like Hepititis B shots. You hold to have a series of 3 or it is not effectual. Your body does not build up enough antibodies to be affective against that disease.
One dose is not sufficient to furnish permanent imperviousness. Repeat doses cause increased antibody production by 'memory' response. In endemic areas, 3 doses are not adequate. Now, they feel that 10 to 14 doses are required for complete protection. Hence, they hold Polio Days when all children beneath the age of 5 years are given polio vaccine.
Even three doses does not have 100 percent seroconversion or contained by common man's lexis do not offer 100 percent protection what to read out of single dose. Second and third doses act as booster over the first dose.

Why (and how) do persuaded drugs such as LSD, MDMA and BZP amplify the pupils of the user?

Why (and how) do persuaded drugs such as LSD, MDMA and BZP amplify the pupils of the user?
Mydriasis is the term for excessive dilation of the pupil due to disease or drugs. To explain, in that are two types of muscles that control the size of the iris: circular and radial. The former is innervated by the parasympathetic nervous system, the latter by the sympathetic tentative system. Sympathetic stimulation of Alpha 1 adrenergic receptors causes the contraction of the radial muscle, and subsequent DILATION of the iris. Mydriasis depends on this adrenaline agent. LSD, cocaine, and the resembling inhibit the re-uptake of NOR-ADRENALINE within a guts synapse. As an experiment, if a solution of cocaine is dropped into the eye, noradrenaline is no longer reabsorbed by the neurons, and its levels increase. Noradrenaline, the neurotransmitter for the sympathetic uptight system, causes dilation of the pupil that may concluding for hours or days. who's more potential to suffer severe destroy??

person X after blood loss OR
entity Y after some loss of brain tissue?
they both survived.who's more potential to suffer severe destroy??
depends on the degree of blood loss as powerfully as degree of brain injury.
near catastrophic blood loss, it's quite possible that the entire brain could be injured because it didn't procure enough oxygen. as previously stated, brain tissue cannot regenerate.
within are many parts of the brain which are not essential to our functioning, so it's quite possible that one could survive a loss of that non-essential brain tissue and not incurr any lifelong damage at adjectives.
however, in standard blood loss is less feasible to cause irreversible impairment than brain injury.
    Y
Person Y is more likely to suffer lifelong damage. Blood is efficiently replaced; brain tissue is not.
    Person Y
    Unfortunatley Louu,
I can answer this from experience.
My Daughter Erin has be in a coma since 5-23-99
due to a brain injury, from a coup¨| accident. Wendy, her best friend who
also be injured, is fine now.
They are both alive But Wendy is Married and my Daughter
Erin is still within a coma.
    That's the truth...
Why did you ask this ?
    Erins Dad,
    John
Blood can replace itself but the brain tissue would be replaced with mark tissue however enough blood loss could conceivably starve the brain of oxygen which can create permanent hurt so it is probably a matter of point

Spine surgery is very sheltered nowadays. My cousin get her Spine surgery in India by the company call Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid within India was intensely less. She rewarded 25 % of the cost she was quoted surrounded by America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very infamous in India. They arrange spine surgery for foreigners within India. I read a lot just about them in the Newspapers and something like their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to own surgery abroad for low price, as Spine and other orthopedic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also enjoy photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost funds. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be confidently handled contained by India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best within the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

um, there isn't one. this would be a unresolved point within the medical community, and typically "experts" are upright at a certain division of there pasture. If you are looking for an expert you usually ask a lot of doctors and look at papers they've published, oh and in that credentials (where they got in that degrees). Most people don't "need" an expert unless they own a very serious disease.
    haha- like Grey's anatomy, eh?
    Macnamera/Troy surrounded by Miami Florida.
I am all of them, but given that I am a awfully humble individual, I shall keep my identity concealed.

There are 3 main heat scales.
The earliest, Fahrenheit, was invented surrounded by 1724 by Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit, a German Physicist. This scale is still used widely within America.
The next and most "metric" of the scales, Celsius, be invented in 1742 by Sweedish astronomer Anders Celsius. This go up is the standard in Europe.
The final scale, Kelvin, is the SI standard length for temperature. It be invented in 1848 by Lord William Thomas Kelvin. The kelvin degree starts at absolute nil, therefore 0 C/32 F is equivalent to 273.15K
The Celsius mount is widely known as the centigrade clamber because it is divided into 100 degrees. It is name for the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius, who established the scale contained by 1742. William Thomson Kelvin used it as the basis of his total temperature amount, now prearranged as the Kelvin temperature degree, in 1848 (see also total zero). Temperatures on the Celsius scale can be converted to equivalent temperature on the Fahrenheit temperature amount by multiplying the Celsius temperature by 9/5 and count 32° to the result, according to the formula 9C/5+32=F.
Fahrenheit is a temperature scramble named after the German physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit (1686–1736), who proposed it surrounded by 1724.
